\/ alumni \/ staff library card. Users may borrow library materials by presenting their barcoded library card at the circulation counter.<\/p><p>Applicants for a library card should fill in an application form and submit a photo at the circulation counter. The Library can also request photocopies of articles from other libraries for academic research purposes on behalf of readers. Tutorial Room There is a tutorial room in the library that can accommodate two to ten people for group discussions or meetings. Readers are welcome to register at the circulation counter. New Book Exhibition The library has a special counter for &quot;New Book Exhibition&quot;. On average, about 100 new books and audio-visual materials are displayed for a few weeks each month for readers to have a sneak peek. Welcome to browse and make reservations. Book Reservation Service Users with borrowing accounts can make reservations for books that have been borrowed through the library&#039;s online catalog Primo (https:\/\/primo.hkbts.edu.hk). Computer Equipment Readers can freely use the library&#039;s computers to search for information they need on the Internet or use them to read various CD-ROM materials in the library. The library&#039;s website also lists a large number of useful websites. Readers using personal laptops can connect to the library&#039;s wireless network system after registration. The library is also equipped with scanners, color and black-and-white printers for use. Audio-visual Equipment The library provides a variety of audio-visual equipment for readers to listen to tapes, laser discs, and watch videotapes, videos and DVDs. Photocopying Equipment There are photocopiers in the library for readers to copy documents or required materials.
