Trust each other and preach the goodness of trusting each other for God. On May 1 this year, I was invited to be a speaker at the annual worship of the Hong Kong Baptist Convention and shared the message about "trust". I very much hope that all Baptist churches can trust each other, and as pastors leading the church, we should also strive to make the flock we shepherd trust us. In the sermon, I also mentioned topics such as power, service, and calling. In the more than ten years since I became the dean, I am grateful to have met some co-workers who trust each other; I trust them and they trust me. Due to the global outbreak of the new coronavirus epidemic and the restrictions of relevant epidemic prevention measures, a teacher living abroad was unable to come to the seminary to teach the subject of "Preaching Method". So I took office and took on this work, and invited Pastor Lin Guobin to teach with me. Pastor Lin listened to my request and agreed without discussing anything with me. On the other hand, in the face of the sudden outbreak, everyone in the college was busy dealing with many things in their own positions, such as responding to the spiritual needs of the church during the epidemic, organizing a series of "theological salons", etc. Although Pastor Lin and I were busy with our own things and were unable to plan the "Preaching Method" class arrangements in advance, every time we talked, we only needed a few simple words to explain complex things clearly without having to discuss them over and over again. I saw that we were able to achieve this result because of our mutual trust. This teaching was divided into two people, each teaching half of the class. I was responsible for teaching the theory of preaching first, and Pastor Lin was responsible for supervising each student's two preaching exercises. I thought that Pastor Lin would not attend the class for the half of the teaching I was responsible for, but he actually appeared in the class from the beginning of the class on May 19! I guess he may know that my physical strength is limited, so he assisted from time to time and talked with me in the class, just like a small "salon", enriching the entire learning scene and adding a lot to the teaching. We were able to create such beautiful sparks based on the trust between each other. We all happily enjoy this relationship of trust. In class, we learned the claims of the scriptures, the function, focus, form and movement of the sermon. Teachers and students completed the "Preaching Method" course in a joyful atmosphere. Preaching the completely trustworthy God requires not only mutual trust between people, but also the God we believe in, who is worthy of our complete trust. Along the way, I deeply feel that God is truly a trustworthy God. The seminary was reborn in adversity. 2009 is an important mark. He graciously established it and gave many wonderful guidance and leadership. If we had not taught the "Preaching Method" course this time, I believe we would not have spent extra time in our busy service to think deeply about the topic of preaching. In fact, as early as 2010 and 2011, I had written a series of articles on preaching in the "School News" ("The Academy of Preaching\u2027The Spirituality of
