\u51fa\u7248\u4eca\u671f\u300a\u5c71\u9053\u671f\u520a\u300b\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u9999\u6e2f\u6b63\u627f\u53d7\u885d\u64ca\uff1a\u65b0\u51a0\u80ba\u708e\u75ab\u75c7\u4ecd\u7136\u6d41\u884c\uff0c\u53c8\u6709\u70ba\u6578\u4e0d\u5c11\u7684\u4eba\u53e3\u79fb\u6c11\u4ed6\u65b9\u3002\u70ba\u56de\u61c9\u9019\u4e9b\u73fe\u8c61\uff0c\u4eca\u671f\u7684\u5c08\u984c\u5b9a\u70ba\u300c\u805a\u8207\u6563\u300d\u3002\u672c\u671f\u5c08\u984c\u6587\u7ae0\u7e3d\u5171\u516d\u7bc7\uff0c\u4e09\u7bc7\u5c6c\u65bc\u8056\u7d93\u7814\u7a76\u985e\uff0c\u4e09\u7bc7\u5c6c\u65bc\u5be6\u8e10\u795e\u5b78\u985e\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000\u3000\u63a5\u8457\u662f\u913a\u632f\u83ef\u7684\u6587\u7ae0\u3008\u6bb7\u5207\u6b3e\u5f85\u5f0f\u7684\u672c\u5730\u8de8\u6587\u5316\u5ba3\u6559\u4e8b\u5de5\uff1a\u4e00\u7a2e\u5be6\u8e10\u6574\u5168\u5ba3\u6559\u89c0\u7684\u4e8b\u5949\u3009\uff0c\u9996\u5148\u7c21\u7565\u5730\u8a0e\u8ad6\u5411\u5fc3\u5f0f\u548c\u96e2\u5fc3\u5f0f\u5ba3\u6559\u6a21\u5f0f\u7684\u6982\u5ff5\u548c\u6b77\u53f2\u3002\u7136\u5f8c\u913a\u632f\u83ef\u8ad6\u8b49\uff0c\u7531\u65bc\u5168\u7403\u5316\u4f7f\u5404\u5730\u4eba\u53e3\u6025\u5287\u6d41\u52d5\uff0c\u672c\u5730\u8de8\u6587\u5316\u5ba3\u6559\u4e8b\u5de5\u8d8a\u986f\u91cd\u8981\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u5176\u4e2d\u61c9\u8a72\u540c\u6642\u5305\u542b\u4f48\u9053\u548c\u6b3e\u5f85\u5169\u65b9\u9762\u3002\u4ed6\u7a31\u9019\u7a2e\u4e8b\u5de5\u70ba\u300c\u6bb7\u5207\u6b3e\u5f85\u5f0f\u7684\u672c\u5730\u8de8\u6587\u5316\u5ba3\u6559\u300d\u3002\u4ed6\u8a8d\u70ba\u9019\u7a2e\u6574\u5408\u5ba3\u6559\u6a21\u5f0f\u80fd\u7a81\u7834\u4f48\u9053\u548c\u793e\u6703\u95dc\u61f7\u4e8c\u5143\u5c0d\u7acb\u7684\u601d\u7dad\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Editor's Note When Wong Fook-kwong published this issue of The Hill Road Journal, Hong Kong was under attack: the COVID-19 pandemic was still raging, and a significant number of people were migrating to other places. In response to these phenomena, the theme of this issue was set as "Gathering and Dispersing". There are a total of six articles in this issue, three of which are in the category of Bible studies and three in the category of practical theology. The first article is "Stay or Leave? Reflections on Four Biblical Figures in the Second Temple Period" by Wu Huifen, which focuses on four biblical figures in the Second Temple Period (Esther, Daniel, Ezra, and Nehemiah). Esther and Daniel represent those who left their homeland and emigrated to other places, while Ezra and Nehemiah represent those who continued to live in the local area. Staying or leaving is not necessarily decided by the person concerned. Whether staying or leaving, both groups of people have to deal with the social, political and religious conditions they face. In addition, both groups of people can make changes in their society and expand the kingdom of God on earth. The second article is "Gathering and Dispersion as Old Testament Theological Concepts" written by the author, which discusses the narratives of "gathering" and "dispersion" in the Old Testament. These narratives are not only about people moving from one place to another, but are also full of emotions that are either negative, positive, or mixed. More importantly, they are full of theological significance, showing God's pleasure or displeasure, blessings or curses, and the relationship between man and God. This article examines some representative passages in the Old Testament to show how these "gathering" and "dispersion" depict the relationship between God and the world and His people. The third article is "Separation and Reunion in Death, Continuity and Rupture: Comparing the Related Rituals of Greek Funerals and Early Christians from the Perspective of Social Function" by Zhang Kaixian, which deals with a permanent aspect of dispersion\/separation: death. Zhang Kaixian argues that baptism and the Lord's Supper, two rituals related to the death of Jesus Christ, reflect the early Christians' faith in His resurrection and, compared with the Greek world, promote Christian self-definition and unity in two ways: first, they emphasize the continuity of the dead with the community rather than the break; second, they promote an "alternative community" that is more equal than the surrounding society. Qu Li's "Divine Light Separation and Integration: The Difference and Compatibility between Christianity and Chinese Culture" is the first article in this issue of Practical Theology. He first discusses Niebuhr's five types of Christianity and Western culture: Christ is against culture, Christ belongs to culture, Christ is above culture, Christ and culture are opposite and complementary, and Christ transforms culture. He then discusses the successes and failures of the efforts to integrate Christianity and Chinese culture in the past two centuries, that is, how Christianity and Chinese culture have separated and merged. He argues that Niebuhr's type 4 (Christ and culture are opposite and complementary) is the most feasible way. Next is Kwong Chun-wah\u2019s article, \u201cLocal Cross-Cultural Mission with Hospitality: A Ministry that Practices a Holistic Missionary Perspective\u201d, which first briefly discusses the concepts and history of centripetal and centrifugal missionary models. Kwong Chun-wah then argues that due to the rapid movement of people around the world due to globalization, local cross-cultural missionary work has become increasingly important and should include both evangelism and hospitality. He calls this kind of ministry \u201clocal cross-cultural mission with
