He is fervently committed to serving Christ, especially through ministries of evangelism and community care. He has been serving on the church\u2019s mission board for 20 years to help develop overseas and Mainland China ministries. During his 15 years with the evangelism ministry, he has been involved in local mission projects, caring for seminary students and local communities, as well as developing ministries for Indonesian domestic helpers. He is also director of his church\u2019s social and recreational unit and supervises a spiritual growth class. Brother Kuen is a businessman and has his own factory. He and his wife have a son and a daughter. <\/p>\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000In 2012, when Brother Kuen was asked to join the President\u2019s Council of HKBTS, he accepted the invitation right away. As he has been serving in his church\u2019s evangelism ministry, he is always concerned about the needs and growth of seminary students. He decided that it would be marvelous if he could go a step further by becoming part of the Council and contributing his share of support to theological education. Besides, he not only identifies with the direction of the seminary, but also appreciates President Cho\u2019s ways of conducting himself and doing things. Hence, for many years he has been eager to serve in that capacity. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #235ba8; font-size: 24px;\"><strong>United As One<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000<em><strong>One of the profound impressions Brother Kuen has of HKBTS is its solidarity and unity. The president, teaching staff and students are all, regardless of rank or position, bound by one heart. <\/em><\/strong>The president does not put on airs, but is kind and friendly, trusting people and treating them with care and love. He is also willing to listen to others\u2019 views with an open mind. Brother Kuen knows even though HKBTS has gone through a difficult period, President Cho presses on persistently to build up the seminary. Amid those challenging times, he suffered a heart attack, but after he recovered, he carried out his duties at the seminary tirelessly, bringing it back on the right track. His dedication has earned the respect of others and inspired Brother Kuen to do his best to support theological education. <\/p>\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000Moreover, Brother Kuen finds HKBTS faculty friendly, with whom he can easily develop a good rapport. His church often invites them to lead church activities and give sermons. In addition, students\u2019 lives are a moving testimony for Jesus Christ. In the seminary\u2019s Spiritual Revival Concert this past May, he was so touched by a student\u2019s testimony that he even thought of inviting her as a guest at his church\u2019s evangelistic meeting to witness for Christ. It is hard to imagine that HKBTS can achieve such level of growth without solidarity and unity. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #235ba8; font-size: 24px;\"><strong>Community Care<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000Brother Kuen takes an active part in organizing and promoting ministries of evangelism and community care within his church. <em><strong>He expects seminary students not only to do well in academic studies but also to care about their community. <\/em><\/strong> These days many seminary students when serving in churches are quite protective of themselves, unwilling to open themselves up. If they can learn how to care about their community and live among the poor, they can become open-minded and treat others with sincerity. Later on, they may be able to motivate their own church to provide caring services for people in the community and spread the gospel to them. This will spur the growth of the congregation. Brother Kuen suggests that the seminary organize visits to people living in cage homes and subdivided units, and bring them the gospel. Such an experience will inspire students as well as bring about changes in them. Brother Kuen hopes that his specialty in this area can contribute to the progress of the seminary. <\/p>\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000Brother Kuen is impressed with the seminary\u2019s current development and its campus extension project. The president\u2019s development aspirations and guidance show his drive and courage. Brother Quan heard the testimony of one of his students at the Holy Music Spiritual Retreat held in May this year and was deeply moved. He even wanted to invite her to be a witness at the church&#039;s sermon. HKTSS&#039;s growth would not be possible without the foundation of unity and unity. Caring for the community Brother Kuen actively organizes and promotes gospel ministry and community care in his church. He hopes that the seminary students will not only study hard, but also care about the community. At present, many seminary students who come to the church to serve are more protective of themselves and fail to open themselves up. If they learn to care for the community and live in the grassroots community, they will be able to be broad-minded and treat others warmly. In the future, they will be able to lead the church to care for the community together, preach the gospel to them, and make the church prosperous. Brother Kuen suggested that the seminary could arrange for students to visit cage houses and subdivided flats and preach the gospel in the grassroots community; these experiences can bring changes and enlightenment to the students. Brother Kuen hopes that his expertise in this area can contribute to the college. Brother Kuen believes that the current development and expansion plan of the seminary is very good, and the dean&#039;s development aspirations and teachings reflect his drive and courage. \u3000\u3000\u6b0a\u5f1f\u5144\u5728\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u6559\u6703\u7a4d\u6975\u7d44\u7e54\u53ca\u63a8\u52d5\u798f\u97f3\u4e8b\u5de5\u3001\u793e\u5340\u95dc\u61f7\u3002\u4ed6\u671f\u671b\u795e\u5b78\u751f\u4e0d\u4f46\u8b80\u597d\u66f8\u672c\uff0c\u4e5f\u8981\u95dc\u61f7\u793e\u5340\u3002\u73fe\u6642\uff0c\u4e0d\u5c11\u795e\u5b78\u751f\u4f86\u5230\u6559\u6703\u4e8b\u5949\uff0c\u90fd\u8f03\u70ba\u4fdd\u8b77\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u672a\u80fd\u958b\u653e\u81ea\u5df1\u3002\u5047\u5982\u4ed6\u5011\u5b78\u6703\u4e86\u95dc\u61f7\u793e\u5340\uff0c\u5728\u57fa\u5c64\u793e\u5340\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u5c31\u80fd\u5920\u80f8\u61f7\u5bec\u5927\uff0c\u6bb7\u5207\u5f85\u4eba\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u65e5\u5f8c\u9084\u80fd\u5920\u5e36\u52d5\u6559\u6703\uff0c\u4e00\u8d77\u95dc\u61f7\u793e\u5340\uff0c\u628a\u798f\u97f3\u50b3\u7d66\u4ed6\u5011\uff0c\u4f7f\u6559\u6703\u8208\u65fa\u3002\u6b0a\u5f1f\u5144\u5efa\u8b70\uff0c\u795e\u5b78\u9662\u53ef\u4ee5\u5b89\u6392\u5b78\u751f\u63a2\u8a2a\u7c60\u5c4b\u3001\u528f\u623f\uff0c\u53bb\u57fa\u5c64\u793e\u5340\u50b3\u798f\u97f3\uff1b\u9019\u4e9b\u7d93\u9a57\u53ef\u4ee5\u70ba\u540c\u5b78\u5e36\u4f86\u6539\u8b8a\u548c\u555f\u8fea\u3002\u6b0a\u5f1f\u5144\u5e0c\u671b\u81ea\u5df1\u5728\u9019\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u6240\u9577\uff0c\u80fd\u5920\u70ba\u5b78\u9662\u4f5c\u51fa\u8ca2\u737b\u3002
