Each of these teachers and scholars has his \/ her expertise: some are adept at theology and doctrine, some are well versed in the Old and New Testaments, and some are conversant in ethical thinking. By reading <em>HRJ<\/em>, I enter into their knowledge and through their perspectives, I can see the past, present and future possibilities of the world of theology and our churches. <\/p>\n\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000We, as students, are taught in HKBTS that theological education is a lifelong pursuit. After obtaining our graduation certificate and working busily in the ministry field, we tend to forget this exhortation. But <em>HRJ<\/em> reminds us pastors and ministers that we must still walk on the path of learning. \u201cPick it up and develop good reading habits\u201d is the challenge my teachers put in front of me. This is also the request from the sheep I serve today. Indeed, I cannot always take advantage of simply refurbishing the \u201cold stuff\u201d just to avoid personally making a great effort. <\/p>\n\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000To pastors, reading amidst their busy ministry seems to be a luxury. It always takes me several evenings to read through <em>HRJ<\/em>. Nevertheless, I still find it worth the time to climb this mountain of knowledge. I seem to be going on an adventure to deepen my Christian faith and broaden my horizons. <em><strong>In recalling my experience of reading HRJ, I cannot forget the time when I was touched deeply as I read \u201cWitness of the People of God\u201d (Issue 37). Similarly, I cannot forget the days when I was eagerly reading \u201cNew Perspective on Paul\u201d (Issue 25) and the exhortation and inspiration grained from reading \u201cSpirituality and Pastoral Ministry\u201d(Issue 15). <\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n\n<p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000If there were no <em>Hill Road Journal<\/em> \u2026 Fortunately, this is merely an \u201cif\u201d! Reading Shan Dao allows me to enter their perspectives and see the past, present, and future development possibilities of the theological world and the church through their eyes. It takes me several nights to barely finish reading the articles in The Mountain Road. But I still feel that every issue of The Mountain Road is worth my time to climb the mountain of knowledge, because it is a process of deepening faith and expanding horizons. Looking back on my past experience of reading The Mountain Road, I can&#039;t forget the touch in my heart when I read &quot;The Testimony of God&#039;s People&quot; (Issue 37), nor can I forget the days of following &quot;A New Perspective on Paul&quot; (Issue 25), and the reminders given to me by &quot;Spiritual Formation and Pastoral Ministry&quot; (Issue 15).
