They need to be faithful to God\u2019s call for their entire lives and dedicate themselves to expounding the Word of God and shouldering the responsibilities of the preaching ministry. By including graduating student preaching into the curriculum seven years ago, the seminary intends to enable preachers-in-training to practice preaching on campus, allowing them to experience God\u2019s grace and the encouragement, admonition and blessings of the entire seminary community.<\/p><p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000Before they can graduate from the seminary, each of the graduating students will have to stand before the pulpit during the morning chapel service to preach a sermon to all the seminary\u2019s faculty and students. The graduating students carefully prepare their sermons and conscientiously preach the Word of God while teachers and fellow students give them their full support. It is inevitable for these graduating students to feel nervous but what is especially touching and memorable is to be able to listen to one after another sincere sermon and see for ourselves the lives of one after another sincere preacher standing in front of us.<\/p><p align=\"\u201cjustify\u201d\">\u3000\u3000Generally speaking, two students are paired up to preach during the chapel hour. They usually preach different sermons. However, sometimes they choose closely related topics or even two closely connected passages so that the messages resonate with each other, like a bird flying on two wings. In this issue, we will publish sermons from three preachers-in-training in the hope that God will use them to inspire and encourage our readers. They are all different and yet, they resonate with each other as they talk about \u201cthe perseverance of love,\u201d \u201csubmission,\u201d \u201cthe willingness to suffer,\u201d \u201cpraying with confidence,\u201d and even \u201csowing in tears.\u201d These sermons are especially valuable as they more or less reveal the reflection of a preacher-in-training on the life quality of a preacher.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Preaching is an extremely important ministry for preachers. They must be faithful to their calling throughout their lives, preach the word of God with all their heart, and undertake the ministry of preaching. The &quot;graduation sermon&quot; that the college restored more than seven years ago was to allow a group of graduating future preachers to practice in the service of preaching, experience God&#039;s grace in the process, and receive encouragement, reminders, and blessings from the entire college community. Before leaving the college, every student who is about to &quot;complete his\/her teaching&quot; must stand on the podium of the college&#039;s morning assembly and preach the message in front of all the teachers and students in the college. We see that the graduating class students have prepared carefully and preached the word of God with all their heart, and the teachers and classmates also support them. The two students may preach two different messages, but sometimes they will deliberately choose similar topics or explain two connected passages of scripture, so that the two messages echo each other and are coherent, like two wings flying together, hence the title of &quot;Double Flying&quot;. This issue of &quot;College News&quot; shares with readers the preaching of three graduating students, hoping that God will use these messages to encourage readers. These three messages were originally independent and not intentionally related, but coincidentally, the three messages echo each other. Whether it is talking about &quot;love to the end&quot;, &quot;obedience&quot;, &quot;willing to suffer&quot;, &quot;prayer of faith&quot; or &quot;sowing seeds in tears&quot;, more or less, they all reveal a prospective preacher&#039;s reflection on the quality of life of the preacher.
