Before entering seminary, I had never heard of theologians' names and their works, church history, various theological approaches, the similarities and differences between denominations, and the deuterocanonical and apocryphal books outside the canon. I am just a lay believer who serves the church enthusiastically, is called by the Lord and recommended by the pastor to study at Baptist Theological Seminary.
