From Fisherman to Shepherd to Cancer Patient to Seminary Student
Walter W. Wong (M.Div. Program): Since 2000, God has spoken to me through the Word of the Bible and some experiences in my life. Because of His love for me, God called me to draw closer to Him and serve Him throughout my life. Then, in 2004, I was diagnosed with leukemia, but God used this terrible illness to show me how much He loves me and to teach me to trust Him wholeheartedly—He made me deeply feel that no matter who I am, He will never forsake me! God also gave me the courage to overcome the barriers of faith and respond to His calling. Today, I very much hope to take advantage of my youth to enter seminary to equip myself properly, to learn to offer my best, and to serve God with my life. ...
