Samuel Yip (M.Div.) The missionary journey The year I entered the seminary, I was moved and began to have a burden for missionary work. After receiving confirmation, I raised my hand in tears to respond to the call at the missionary meeting; the tears were not from sadness, but because I saw the urgent needs in the missionary field. On the one hand, I am becoming more and more certain that God wants to send me on a missionary journey, and on the other hand, I am studying theology full-time; the two are not one at the expense of the other, but rather complement each other. From then on, the "missionary path" and the "theological path" were intertwined in my "path of life". Although I am old and the beginning may be difficult, when I embarked on this path, I found that it was a journey of grace and no regrets. ...
