Walking Together on the Path of Theological Training

Brothers and sisters are called to enter the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary (HKBTS) to equip themselves to become faithful servants of God. Molding My Life

Man-yee Wan (M.Div. 1) Encounter with God Touched by God’s selfless love, I decided to believe in the Lord at the school’s Gospel Week sermon when I was in Form 2. When I was in junior high school, I encountered my first setback in life: my father was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and our family's financial situation gradually declined. When I was in Form 6, I began to participate in church life. As I grew up, I realized that God is a powerful doctor, God is love, and God is salvation; God can change people’s lives; God is the greatest treasure in human life... In difficult family situations, God is my only support. Although we experienced all kinds of difficulties, Heavenly Father allowed the gospel to come to my family step by step, first to my father and mother, then to my eldest sister, and finally to my second sister; over a period of more than ten years, the whole family believed in the Lord.
