content This is an introductory course to lectio divina (spiritual reading), suitable for believers who long for but rarely experience the Lord's presence while reading the Bible. Through theoretical explanations, practical exercises, and reflection, the course aims to equip participants with the theological foundations, principles, required attitudes, and key points of each stage of lectio divina. Each session includes silent prayer exercises, and participants are responsible for arranging an undisturbed environment for the course.
Contents:
  1. Where the spirit reads is directed.
  2. “"Less is more": The brilliance of the Bible
  3. Shared Reading by Gods and Humans: A Spiritual Perspective on Bible Reading
  4. Quiet: Preparation for Receiving the Holy Word
  5. lectio: The difficulty and reason of listening to the Word of God
  6. meditatio: meditating on the difficulty and reasoning of the sacred words.
  7. oratio: Responding to the difficulty and reasoning of the sacred words
  8. contemplatio: The Ordinary and the Extraordinary Through Silent Observation
