Today, when readers interpret the Bible, they are faced with a collection of texts from at least two thousand years ago, and the historical elements involved in its compilation and content span no less than a thousand years. Due to the complexity of its background and content, understanding the Bible cannot be accomplished through a single method. This course will introduce the foundations and methods for interpreting the Bible from different perspectives: focusing on the historical context behind the text? Or the literary presentation within the text? Or perhaps emphasizing the reader before the text? In doing so, we can appreciate the richness of the Bible. Contents:
