content	This course explores the liturgical readings of the five books in Jewish tradition: the Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, and Esther. We will begin with a literary, historical, and theological analysis of each book, followed by a discussion of their use during their respective festivals. Finally, we will explore their application in Christian liturgy and in Christian ministry.
