Entrance Requirements
- A born-again Christian who is mentally mature and of good character, and who has been baptized and joined the church for three years or more.
- Possess a university degree or equivalent qualifications.
- Pass the college's written test in both Chinese and English, as well as the interview.
Application for admission
Please complete the "Application Form for Admission", "Consent Form for Handling Personal Files", "Student Admission Preference Form" and "Health Questionnaire", and then submit them along with...The following documents (ag)Return them to headquarters together.
- Two recent photos of the applicant, one of which should be affixed to page 1 of the application form (size: approximately 2.5 cm x 3 cm).
- Copies of graduation certificates and transcripts (including examination papers, diploma examination papers, pre-university papers, university or seminary papers);
- Personal testimonies of salvation and ministry (approximately 1000-1500 words in total);
- Three completed recommendation forms: Applicants must nominate three consultants. The department will arrange for the recommendation forms to be filled out by the relevant individuals, and the consultants should mail or email the completed recommendation forms directly to the department. The contents will be kept confidential. Consultants should be pastors or elders of the applicant's church, direct superiors of the applicant's church or institution, seminary professors, or college professors. They must have a certain level of acquaintance with the applicant and be able to provide a fair assessment of the applicant's personality, attitude, and abilities. Furthermore, the applicant and consultants must not be related.
(Note: One of the consultants nominated by all applicants for advanced diplomas/certificates must be the head of the applicant's church, such as the senior pastor, church director, or deacon chairman. If the applicant has special reasons for not being able to find the head of their church to serve as a consultant, they must submit a written explanation of the reasons to the college, which will be approved by the president or dean of academic affairs at their discretion.) - A letter of recommendation from the applicant's church (with the church seal) (This requirement is waived for applicants for advanced diploma/certificate programs).
- Applicants must also submit the original transcripts of their university and/or seminary to this department. The original transcripts must be sent directly from the relevant institution to the Department of Theological Education of the Faithful (address: 10/F, Chung Kiu Commercial Building, 47-51 Shantung Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon).
- The registration fee is HK$300 [a discount of HK$150 is offered for registrations made on or before July 10 (Friday) (postmark date applies)] and proof of bank payment is required. The registration fee can be paid through the following methods:
