content This course uses passages from the Gospel of John where Christ speaks with a woman (Dialogue by the Well - John 4:5-30, 39-42; Light of Life - John 8:2-12; The Posture of Love - John 12:1-8; The Proclamation of Resurrection - John 20:1-2, 11-18) as a blueprint, accompanied by images, to practice contemplative prayer, experience "listening" to the Lord, and build an intimate relationship with Him; and supplemented by small group sharing, to experience "listening" to oneself and others, and to connect with one another on the spiritual journey.

  4. The tradition of silent prayer and its examination
