The Poems of the Body: A Christian Dance Devotional and Worship Journey

suject The Poems of the Body: A Christian Dance Devotional and Worship Journey
content The core of this course design lies in "creating a rhythmic, cumulative, and safe journey of mind and body exploration." Course Objectives:
1. To help participants build a more intimate and holistic spiritual, worship, and prayer life through dance movements.
2. Guide dancers (or non-dancers) to explore the spiritual significance of the body as a "temple of the Holy Spirit" and learn to express faith through the body.
3. Build supportive and encouraging spiritual communities through co-creation and sharing.

Course Outline:
Week 1: Foundation – My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit
Week Two: Subjugation – Listening in Silence and Movement
Week 3: Lamentations – A True Expression Before God
Week 4: Joy and Praise – “Hands, Dance, Feet, Stomps”
Week 5: Scripture Interaction – Let God's Word Dwell in the Body
Week 6: Integration and Deployment – My Dance of Life
Week 7: Group Creation – I Am Not Alone
Week 8: Witnessing and Sharing – Sharing Results

Note: No dance experience is required, only a heart willing to worship God with all one's heart.
This is not a performance dance class, but a deep spiritual retreat course.
