However, it was widely sung in weddings, celebrations, banquets and other occasions in Israeli society, forming a sharp contrast. Since ancient times, there have been two opposing interpretations of the Song of Songs: "allegorical interpretation" and "natural interpretation". As to whether the interpretation strategies proposed by past and contemporary commentators are right or wrong is a matter of opinion and is beyond the scope of this article. What was discussed at the first "Baptist Theological Academic Exchange Conference"? Why does "Baptism" promote the study of Barth's theology?
