The Weide Wang Master of Divinity program started in 2000. God spoke to me through the words of the Bible and some experiences in my life. Because God loves me, he calls me to get closer to Him and to serve Him throughout my life. In 2004, I suffered from blood cancer. God used this terrible disease to let me know how much He loves me and asked me to learn to trust Him wholeheartedly. He made me deeply realize that no matter what kind of person I am, He will never leave me! God also gave me the courage to break through the barrier of faith and respond to His call. Fung Kit-ying Master of Divinity Course 1. Belief in the Lord, Growth and Service When I was in primary school, I followed my teacher to Tai Kok Tsui Baptist Church and felt that the people in the church were very friendly. After I decided to believe in the Lord in middle school, I returned to the "Corner Baptism". At first, my mother opposed me, which made the church life unstable, and then stopped. In 1982, I felt very disappointed due to emotional problems and completely lost faith in people. However, I remembered that God’s love is eternal and I wanted to return to the embrace of the Lord. Visiting Preacher Luo Cuishan After completing the Master of Divinity program in 2001, alumnus Luo Cuishan began to serve in Tai Po Baptist Church. Interview with Rev. Ip King-tak. Alumnus Ip King-tak serves as a voluntary internship supervisor in our college and just returned to school last month to deliver a special lecture. He has been on the road to ministry for more than 20 years. In 1984, when he was about to complete the Master of Divinity program at the Baptist College, he had already started working as the Liaison Officer for Christian Student Activities in the Chaplaincy Office of Hong Kong Baptist College. Three years later, he applied for a leave of absence and went to the United States to study for a master's degree in theology. One year after graduation, he continued to study in the UK. Interview with Pastor Liu Fuquan Alumnus Liu Fuquan obtained a diploma in Bible studies in 1953 and was the second graduate of this college. Pastor Liu, who is now seventy-six years old, still often preaches on the pulpit with a loud voice, and still serves as a freelance evangelist in more than ten churches.
