In a recently published article discussing the Hellenistic movement by Shaolin Shum, Visiting Assistant Professor of New Testament, the famous New Testament scholar Graham Stanton made this conclusion when referring to Paul’s language training: “Paul’s first language Probably Greek [/Greek?], and when he was educated in Palestine, he also learned fluent Aramaic and Hebrew.
