Brothers and sisters entered the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary (HKBTS) to equip themselves for better service to God. What hardships and joys have they experienced during their studies at the seminary? What difficulties and blessings have they encountered? What thoughts and reflections do they have? What to Study? Why Study?

Alben Wong (Th.M.) Rethinking the meaning of learning Graduation is approaching, and my heart is filled with gratitude. Time is limited, but grace transcends the limitations of time. My studies from Master of Divinity to Master of Theology were full of grace. I have to thank Baptist Theological Seminary for allowing a lazy person like me to enjoy the joy of learning again and again in ample time. During this period, the guidance of the teachers and mentors helped me to understand again and again what pastoral workers should read and why they should read. The latter is a warning to me as a working preacher, so that I don’t get lost in the busy ministry. Learning always has its own meaning. Therefore, the focus of my sharing is on the edification of the seminary. I think this is also a criticism of the preacher himself. Although there is no perfect role model in the world, the teachings here make me reflect on myself and not be led by the times. ...
