Our Graduates’ Reflections and Sharing

When brothers and sisters responded to God’s calling and entered the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary (HKBTS), they received our discipleship education. Throughout the process, they became equipped with theological knowledge, learned pastoring skills, underwent character building, and, through the fellowship of the disciple community, faced together the challenges of the times and the deconstruction and rebuilding of lives. They experienced God’s love through adversities, had deep reflections on their faith and put themselves through the mill to strengthen their will to serve. May the graduates of this community become faithful pastors for others, for the church and for the world by preaching the gospel, building up churches and expanding God’s Kingdom. Now, let us listen to the reflections and sharing of graduates from our Main Programs.

Both of the above involve what kind of seminary Baptist Theological Seminary is. ...

Please Teach Me to Hear Your Voice

My intuitive response at that time was: "Pure heart." To me, "clear" is a state where I can stand before the Lord transparently and without pretense. I hope that such "purity" can expose the self-deception and self-pity in my heart, allowing me to see the Lord and His work more clearly. Indeed, there is nothing I look forward to more than seeing the Lord and His work. I long to be a person of pure heart. ...
