In recent morning meetings, we have had the opportunity to hear many new students share their testimonies of being called. Most of them mentioned that they had never thought of studying theology or becoming pastors. Many students struggled or were reluctant to embark on the path of full-time ministry. I know a fledgling preacher, but his situation is different. He was called in his sophomore year of college, and after graduation he wanted to receive theological training immediately, but he didn't get his wish. He started working in society, waiting for the day when he could enter the seminary. Five years passed, and eight years passed, and he was still waiting, waiting for God's time.
