President Joshua Cho Many subjects at Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary (HKBS) adopt the “team teaching” model, which means two or more teachers work together to plan and teach the same subject. * Teachers may take turns teaching, or interact with each other, or one teacher teaches while other teachers observe and supplement... There are many different forms of teaching, and they are flexible and varied. In recent years, the core courses regularly offered by HKTSC in a teacher-teaching mode include "Research and Writing", "Graduation Seminar", "Introduction to Pastoral Care and Counseling" and "Pastoral Leadership and Ministry". In addition, in response to circumstances and needs, there are also quite a few core and elective courses offered in this mode (see attached table); some of these courses are taught by five or six teachers, and are very popular and colorful, including "Church Worship Studies" in the fall of 2014 and "Church Theology" in the spring of 2016. ...

He is enthusiastic in serving, especially in preaching the gospel and participating in community care ministries. He served in the church mission for twenty years, expanding overseas and domestic ministries; he served in the missionary department for fifteen years, responsible for local missions, caring for seminary students, caring for local communities, and developing Indian domestic workers ministries. Interviewee: Mr. Ma Yuk-ming Brother Ma Yuk-ming is a member of Caiping Baptist Church and has believed in the Lord for nearly forty years. Brother Ma was once the chairman of the church's deacon board. After stepping down more than ten years ago, he studied for a theology diploma and has been serving in the church's Sunday school department for many years. Brother Ma founded his own company thirty years ago and, with God’s provision, it has achieved remarkable development. In order to express his gratitude to God for his grace, he and his wife established a fund in 2016 to support some budding gospel ministries. ...

He has attended and served in Diamond Hill Baptist Church and Tai Kok Tsui Baptist Church for fifty years. In addition to serving in the church, Professor Huang also actively participates in voluntary work for school-running groups, establishing schools locally and overseas to educate students and spread the gospel. Professor Huang is engaged in the construction consultancy and environmental protection industries. The company he founded has now grown into a multinational enterprise. Joshua Cho President The President’s Council (“Council”) of Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary (“HKBS”) was established in the 1980s. Later, the development of the Senate slowed down and the opportunities for members to meet and communicate with each other gradually decreased. It was not until 2009 that the situation began to improve when I reconvened the Senate members and held regular meetings every year. After ten years, I am pleased to see that the relationship between members has become closer and they are increasingly able to play the role of advisors. As our relationships grow closer, the atmosphere at the annual gatherings is always heated and exciting.
