Curie Qu Assistant Professor of Christian Thought Interpretation of the Song of Songs The Song of Songs is a book that is rarely preached from the worship pulpit because of its straightforward and explicit description of love between men and women. However, it was widely sung in weddings, celebrations, banquets and other occasions in Israeli society, forming a sharp contrast. Since ancient times, there have been two opposing interpretations of the Song of Songs: "allegorical interpretation" and "natural interpretation". As to whether the interpretation strategies proposed by past and contemporary commentators are right or wrong is a matter of opinion and is beyond the scope of this article. What was discussed at the first "Baptist Theological Academic Exchange Conference"? Why does "Baptism" promote the study of Barth's theology? After the new teaching and research building was fully opened in 2023, Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary ("Baptist Theological Seminary") held a variety of academic activities there, including academic exchange meetings and later "micro-lectures" from time to time.
