Teachers and students of our college will participate in a spiritual training camp before the start of the new school year from August 16th to 18th, with the theme of "Distance and Rejection".

  • Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony for the 2022-23 academic year will be held on August 23. The opening academic lecture at the morning meeting the next day will be delivered by Dr. Liang Junhao, Assistant Professor of New Testament in our school.

The 49th issue of our hospital's "Sandao Journal" was published in June, with the theme of "Human Theory". Back to the Bible．Going into Churches．Going to Every District

Southern District Bible Seminar A Bible seminar organized by our hospital and co-organized by the Southern District Pastoral Staff Fellowship has been held at Aberdeen Baptist Church on five consecutive Sunday afternoons starting from May 1. This Bible study gathering, which is co-operated by many churches in the Southern District and encourages members of all churches in the district to participate, has nearly 400 participants each time. Five Bible teachers from our college went to the church and shared a five-day spiritual feast with the brothers and sisters. This is a visit and service by the college to the Southern District Church. Cross-disciplinary Studies and Good Servant

Wong Fook Kong (Professor of Old Testament) I have been serving at HKTS for over 15 years and have seen the school go through a lot of changes. Overall, the academic level of the school has improved significantly in recent years, and the academic atmosphere has become stronger. In the field of biblical studies, we now have four full-time teachers and three regular part-time teachers. This is the strongest team I have seen in HKTS in more than ten years. Two important factors in the improvement of academic standards are the establishment of the Doctor of Theology (ThD) program and the strengthening of the Master of Theology (ThM) program. The development of these two programs has required teachers to work harder in research and writing; and the growth of the teaching team has become a driving force for the improvement of the level of other courses in the school. I joke with students that they complain about writing papers of only a few thousand words and only having one (very sympathetic) teacher read them, while we as teachers have to write books of more than 100,000 words, and anyone can read our works and criticize them! In contrast, students should be thankful and not complain like the Israelites in the wilderness. ...
