Rotational Teaching with Flying Colors
Chen Yuen, associate pastor and church music lecturer. In 2014, five teachers in total including Bible and Christian Thought and I taught "Church Worship Studies" together. Since this subject is an interdisciplinary study, it needs to integrate various aspects and pay equal attention to theory and practice. Before the class started, several of our teachers met together to discuss the goals, scope, key content, and homework requirements of the course, so as to help students learn from the Bible, theology, church history, church tradition and etiquette, church worship ministry and pastoral care, and ethical practice , modern cultural situation and other angles to think about the church’s worship ministry. In the classroom, teachers from various majors take turns teaching corresponding topics; I am mainly responsible for coordinating the class, observing each class at the same time, and teaching the second half of the class. "Team teaching" refers to two or more teachers teaching the same subject together. Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary ("Baptist Theological Seminary") has many subjects that adopt the "collaborative teaching" method.
